The insurance plans listed below are accepted at Johnson County Pediatrics. If your insurance is not listed please contact our offices to verify if we can see your child. In Kansas, Medicaid plans include KanCare, Amerigroup RealSolutions in Healthcare, Sunflower Health Plan and UnitedHealthCare Community Plan. Children's Mercy has been excluded from some plans offered on HealthCare.gov, meaning any services, appointments or labs done by Children's Mercy will not be covered. For more information please click here. The physicians at Johnson County Pediatrics want to encourage all of our families to review their insurance provider network listing to make sure Children's Mercy is part of the network. We encourage families to ensure they enroll with a plan that includes Children's Mercy and its physicians.
Aetna – For any plan that requires a PCP, the child's PCP MUST be one of our physicians in order for our services to be convered. HMMC members please note: Your highest benefit level can be obtained with HMMC providers and our providers are NOT a part of HMMC.
BCBS and BCBS Out of State – All PPO Products
BCBS Blue Care – For any plan that requires a PCP, the child's PCP MUST be one of our physicians our services to be covered.
As of Dec. 1, 2016, we do not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield Kansas City: Blue Select. There are several other BCBS plans that also have the word "Select" in their titles. We do accept many of those plans. To determine if we are in network please call your insurance provider or call our offices at (913) 384-5500.
Cigna (All Products) – For any plan that requires a PCP, the child's PCP MUST be one of our physicians in order for our services to be covered. We do not accept Cigna Connect Network.

United Healthcare – Johnson County Peds does not accept United Healthcare Medicaid. We do not accept UHC Community Plan. We also do not accept UHC Compass.
If your insurance is not listed please call our office to verify if we can still see your child – we may have added new companies. Johnson County Pediatrics does not accept Medicaid or Managed Medicaid plans.
