From the newborn stage through each milestone of childhood, our pediatricians are committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care and guidance for your family every step of the way.
We are honored that you are considering our practice for your child’s medical care, and we deeply value the trust families place in us. Supporting children as they grow, develop, and thrive is both a privilege and a responsibility that we take seriously each day.
Our physicians have privileges at
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and are available to see and round on newborns delivered there. If you choose to deliver at another hospital, your baby will be cared for by the hospital’s newborn care team during your stay. Following discharge, we ask that you contact our office to schedule your baby’s initial newborn visit so we may begin providing ongoing care for your child and family.
Before Your First Appointment
We offer free prenatal consultations so you can get to know our providers and ensure our practice is the right fit for your family. Call our office to verify your child’s insurance coverage, ask questions, and schedule a prenatal visit with the provider of your choice.
If you’re already an established family, there’s no need to call—simply let the hospital know we are your child’s pediatrician.
If you are delivering at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, one of our providers will visit you and your baby during your hospital stay.
What To Bring
Once you and your newborn are discharged from the hospital, please call our office to schedule your child’s first appointment.
When you come in, please bring:
- Any hospital paperwork, including hearing screen results and immunization records
- Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit)
