Our practice does not accept Medicaid plans. In Kansas, Medicaid plans include KanCare, Amerigroup RealSolutions in Healthcare, Sunflower Health Plan, UnitedHealthCare Community Plan and Aetna Better Health of Kansas. To find a Medicaid provider please call the phone number on your card.

If your insurance is not listed please call our office to verify if we can still see your child – we may have added new companies. Johnson County Pediatrics does not accept Medicaid or Managed Medicaid plans. 

Children's Mercy has been excluded from some plans offered on HealthCare.gov, meaning any services, appointments or labs done by Children's Mercy will not be covered. The physicians at Johnson County Pediatrics want to encourage all of our families to review their insurance provider network listing to make sure Children's Mercy is part of the network.
