Our practice does not accept Medicaid plans. In Kansas, Medicaid plans include KanCare, Amerigroup RealSolutions in Healthcare, Sunflower Health Plan, UnitedHealthCare Community Plan and Aetna Better Health of Kansas. To find a Medicaid provider please call the phone number on your card. We do not accept Ambetter insurance. (Ambetter erroneously published on the Ambetter website that Children's Mercy facilities and some providers were in-network. That was a mistake. We apologize for any confusion.)
Children's Mercy has been excluded from some plans offered on HealthCare.gov, meaning any services, appointments or labs done by Children's Mercy will not be covered. For more information please click here . The physicians at Johnson County Pediatrics want to encourage all of our families to review their insurance provider network listing to make sure Children's Mercy is part of the network. We encourage families to ensure they enroll with a plan that includes Children's Mercy and its physicians. For more information on the Kansas health insurance marketplace click here.
